Our Packages

Regardless of plan option, all church plans and/or services are purchased directly from the architect.  Our role is to help you select the right plan and to facilitate your church getting the plans and services you require from a licensed church architect. We have 4 different package options for you to purchase. Scroll down below to see what the price and contents are of each one.

 

Example Plan Set

Format: PDF

Price: $7.50 – ask us how you can get any example plan for FREE quickly and easily!

The Example Plan Set includes a fully dimensioned floor plan and exterior elevation, formatted to be printed, to scale, at 11″ x 17″.  This option is perfect for printing out for building committee meetings, or to get a more detailed look at the plans on your computer screen.

Full Sample Plan Set

Format: PDF

Price: $895

The full sample set is the full set of construction documents as supplied by the architect for a previous church building program, delivered as PDF files that cannot be modified.  These plans are called example sets as they are not for construction, nor are they editable. They are, however, the detailed plans from a previous building program.  The full sample set of plans does not include modifications of any sort. These plans do, however, provide your church very detailed drawings that can be used to:

- Get an accurate construction bid.

- Begin the plan review process with the local building department.

- Determine what changes, if any, need to be made to the plans prior to construction.

- Provide a civil engineer detailed drawings to begin the site plan.

- Provide to a lender as part of a loan application package.

The contents of the sample set of plans vary between plans, but typically include:

• Detailed Floor Plan, with Dimensions
• Four Exterior Elevations, with Dimensions
• Door Schedules
• Bathroom Details
• Foundation Plan
• Wall Type or Sections
• UL Details
• Code Summary
• Building Section (typical, but not on all plans)

All modified plans are delivered by email in high resolution electronic form as PDF files within 1-2 business days.

The full example set of plans does not include modification to the plans of any sort. The church may obtain plans with requested changes by purchasing the Communication and Fund Raising Plan Package.

A church may upgrade from the Full Example Plan Set to the Communication and Fund Raising Plan Set for the difference between the cost of this package and then-current advertised price for the Communication and Fund Raising Plan Set as of the date of the upgrade.

Full working drawings, sealed and ready for permitting are also available for all plans in most states.

Unsealed Architectural Drawings

Format: AutoCAD & PDF

Price: $1,895

You are purchasing the very plans from which the church was previously built. However, because of ongoing code changes and differences in building codes in different areas, and factors such as soil type and climate, these plans will need to be revised and certified before they can be used for construction.  These plans are not for construction without the review and certification of a licensed architect.

Unlike the plan options above, these plans come in a format that may be modified by another architect and includes a one-time license to use and modify the plan.

Upon receipt of payment, we will email you the plans as listed below.  These drawings may be modified by an architect of your choice or by our firm.  These plans are sold as-is, without modification, for one-time use only.

Since most of our building plans are for metal buildings, structural plans and details for steel structures are provided by the metal building company of your choice.

The following plans need to be provided by a local resource:

• Plumbing, mechanical & electrical by local engineer
• Civil engineering by local civil engineer
• Seismic Plan (California)

Full working drawings, sealed and ready for permitting are also available for all plans in most states.

Sealed Construction Drawings

Format: PDF

Price: $3,790

Sealed construction drawings from any of our existing plans that is sealed with the stamp of an architect licensed in your state.  The architect’s seal indicates the architect certifies the plans have been drafted with reasonable standard of care, are compliant with all building codes, and is accepting responsibility  and liability for the correctness of the plans and design.

Sealed construction drawings are the final drawings to pull a building permit and for construction  This fee includes everything in the Unsealed Construction Drawing Description, above, plus architectural plan modifications necessary as required by local building code in order to obtain a building permit. This also includes the building code summary.  Engineering plans, such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, foundation, or site plans may be required by your local building department.
